                                    Wedding Cakes & Sugar Flowers- The fashion inspiration issue As a regular contributor to Cake Craft Guides- Wedding Cakes & Sugar Flowers Magazine and Party Cakes Magazine, I was very excited to hear the theme for issue 24. The issue is all about fashion inspired cakes!                                       I was given the task of designing a cake inspired by a Zuhair Murad gown. After looking through some wedding gowns, I quickly found a gown that I loved! Zuhair Murad's 'Tiana' gown with its sequins and floral embellishments became my design inspiration. A 5-tier wedding cake delivered to Inn on the Lake for the wedding of Lauren and Dale. The 5-tier wedding cake featured two ruffled tiers with a split cascade of white peonies, pink roses and green hydrangea sugar flowers, along with white chocolate rose cake pops and cupcakes topped with pink roses and green hydrangea sugar flowers.
