Butterfly Cake Stand Review

I was recently sent this beautiful 4-tier butterfly cupcake stand from SimplyBridal.com The stand comes flat packed and is really easy to assemble. Each piece slots together to create a tiered stand that would be pefect for wedding cupcakes!

The stand has butterfly detail on each of the tiers with a larger feature butterfly at the top. Alternatively the tiers can be reversed to create plain tiers.

This stand would work well as part of a butterfly themed wedding, filled with lots of pretty butterfly cupcakes. I'm looking forward to displaying some wedding cupcakes on this stand soon!

Nude pink wedding cake

A nude pink wedding cake featuring cake lace, petal ruffles and sugar flowers. I made the sugar flowers to tie in with the brides bouquet with quicksand roses, blush lisianthus and greenery including eucalyptus. Here is the cake all set up at The Grange Hotel, Grange over sands. I received such a lovely email from the happy couple with some very kind words!

Wedding Cupcakes and Giant Cupcake

Wedding Cupcakes These cupcakes were for a wedding taking place at the Langdale Chase Hotel in the Lake District. Vanilla cupcakes with vanilla buttercream in ivory and pink. The design for the cupcakes was 'silver and pearls' topped with fondant butterflies. The giant cupcake has a white chocolate finger base.

Amnesia Cascade Wedding Cake

Here is a wedding cake we created last year for a beautiful vintage themed wedding at Storrs Hall. A beautiful 5-tier wedding cake with lace trim and cascading amnesia sugar roses and gypsophila, delivered and set up at Storrs Hall, Winderemere and finished with fresh flowers around the bottom of the cake by Brakens of Bowness. The flavours included rich fruit cake, chocolate orange truffle, white chocolate and passionfruit, chocolate and vanilla. It looked lovely set up in the rotunda at Storrs Hall. Here are the sugar roses in progress, before being dusted to create the beautiful vintage edges that make amnesia roses so popular for vintage themed weddings. And then after dusting along with the gypsophilla sugar flowers. You can find a tutorial for our sugar roses in our online shop.
