Celebration Cakes

Here are a few celebration cakes that I created this week. 

The first cake is a vintage style birthday cake with lace, sugar flowers, butterflies and pearls for a 70th birthday. 

When Debbie contacted me about making a cake for her Mother-in Laws birthday she asked for a combination of two of my previous designs (see below) with lilac and pale pink flowers and butterflies

I was really pleased to receive a lovely email from Debbie about her Mother-in Laws cake  "I just wanted to thank you so much for the cake. Its was absolutely beautiful and tasted amazing too!" I am really glad they enjoyed it. 

The next birthday cake was for Angela's birthday. This cake features a large sugar peony and strings of sugar pearls, with a cameo and pale lilac lace.

Happy Birthday Angela!

And finally this cake was commissioned by Jenny for her Mum and Dad's ruby wedding anniversary. This cake featured a large ruby red rose and white blossoms with a lace border and a sparkly brooch. 

I recieved a lovely message on facebook from Jenny about this cake "Thanks Charlotte, this tasted amazing and everyone thought it was beautiful!"
