Wisteria Wedding Cake Project

Here is my new wedding cake design featuring hanging wisteria sugar flowers, created for the new issue of Cake Craft Guides 'Wedding Cakes and Sugar Flowers' Magazine.

I was given the task of creating a new design in association with the Marianne North gallery at Kew Royal Botanical Gardens.

My design was inspired by the beautiful Marianne North botanical print 'Wisteria Mt.Fuji.'

Inside the magazine you will find a full step by step tutorial for creating this wisteria wedding cake design.

Blue and silver wedding cake

A gorgeous blue and silver colour scheme was chosen for Megan and Rob's wedding at Low Wood Bay Resort and Spa.  I loved the pretty pale blue and white sugar flowers combined with the silver leaf and silver geometric details on their cake.
